In Maastricht since 2020

Burgerbegroting Maastricht (Maastricht Citizens' Budget) was launched in 2020.

  • 2020 – 1st edition of Burgerbegroting Maastricht. The municipality and the province jointly made a budget of €300,000 available.
  • 2023 – 2nd edition of Burgerbegroting Maastricht. The municipality made a budget of €750,000 available. The selected projects were carried out in 2024.
  • 2024 – 3rd edition of Burgerbegroting Maastricht. The municipality made a budget of €798,452 available. The selected projects were carried out in 2025.
  • 2025 – 4th edition of Burgerbegroting Maastricht. The municipality made a budget of €750,000 available. The selected projects will be carried out in 2026.
  • 2026 - 5th edition of Burgerbegroting Maastricht. The municipality made a budget of €750,000 available. The selected projects will be carried out in 2027.
