A group of Heugemerweg residents in Heugemerveld want to make their street greener, more climate-friendly and more appealing. The street is currently a wide, hot strip of asphalt. They would like to have tree planters installed in the street to encourage motorists to drive slower; the added greenery will also lower temperatures in the street. Residents want to create additional parking spaces for bicycles between the planters. Local residents will maintain the greenery.
