2014. Swap to your heart’s content

Ruil je Rijk is a monthly clothing and toy swap that is currently being held in a space that is too small. With support from the Maastricht Citizen’s Budget, the organisers plan to hold 10 of these events at the Werkhuis. Not only will this offer more space for swapping but it will also provide plenty of room to sit, enjoy a beverage and for children to play. Workshops will also be held for children and their parents where they learn to transform old clothes into new items. The project will bring people together and encourage sustainable behaviour.
