Citizens’ Budget: 67 projects now available to view on Thuis in Maastricht
At the beginning of December, it was announced that 67 projects had been assessed as feasible. Each project now has its own page with photos, text and further information. Voting on the theme 'Community associations' will open soon.
Decide which project you want to vote for
In the new year, you can vote on the theme 'Community associations'. Choose your favourite from the 20 projects and cast your vote. You can vote online from Monday 19 to Friday 23 January, and in person at the closing event on Saturday 31 January. Get inspired in advance – view all projects.

There is no voting for the themes 'Arts and culture', 'Stronger together', 'Greening the city' and 'Sport and exercise'. Enough funding is available for the 47 projects in these themes, so they will all go ahead in 2026. Curious to see which ones? Visit the projects page and filter by theme.
Votes cast at the closing event carry more weight than online votes
Online votes count for 40 per cent of the final result. Votes cast at the closing event count for 60 per cent. This is because we believe meeting each other is important. Want to know more about how the final scores are calculated? View the page.
